The Gibson Tuck is a great protective updo, but it gets harder to do the using the usual instructions after hair gets much longer than shoulder length. This video gives step by step instructions on how to do the Gibson Tuck for longer hair.
I hope that this video is of help to some of you.
'Til tomorrow, my friends. Love to all.

Thanks for the video, Franny!
ReplyDeleteWish I had the hair to do this! (Bitch bitch bitch; is that all I do?)
ReplyDeleteWow that is very pretty and looks easy too.
ReplyDeletevery nice and easy updo
ReplyDeletethanks for the video
Love this one!
ReplyDeleteAwesome!!! But mine does not look nice like yours at all :( Perhaps I have too thin hair to to this :/
ReplyDeleteMy hair is very long (1 meter). How do you suggest I modify this tutorial to get a proper Gibson tuck? I love it!
ReplyDeleteNo matter how I place my ponytail through the hair pocket, within 30 minutes the ends of the ponytail are sticking out through the hair below the hair elastic and above the nape of my neck. Any suggestions? My hair is about three inches below my shoulders.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your great video.
